About Fresh Strings

We’ve all been there—stuck in the endless loop of learning, consuming content, and observing.

But here’s the truth: all the knowledge in the world doesn’t matter if you’re not taking action. Too many people wait for the “perfect moment” or think they need to know everything before they start. The reality? You’re never going to feel fully prepared. You have to jump in, create, and experiment to get anywhere. Building and creating will set you free. That’s been my mantra for years, and it’s the foundation of Fresh Strings.

Life isn’t a checklist of things to memorize—it’s an ongoing experiment. Every day is an opportunity to try, fail, learn, and grow. True expertise isn’t something you can find in textbooks or online articles. It’s the result of years of experience, subtle shifts in your thinking, and learning lessons that can’t always be explained. That’s what we call tacit knowledge—the kind that you can’t put into words, but you feel when it clicks. It’s that intuition, that sense of flow, that only comes from actually doing the work.

Mission

At Fresh Strings, my mission is simple: help you uncover and apply that hidden knowledge across a few key areas that are all connected:

      • Tennis

      • Health & Wellness

      • Psychology & Behavior

      • Business

      • Science, Tech & Artificial Intelligence

Each of these fields holds untapped potential for learning and growth. The trick is in recognizing the patterns and applying the knowledge that isn’t immediately visible.

Applying What You Learn Here

Ever watch a top athlete like Roger Federer or Tom Brady, and wonder how they make it look so effortless? That’s tacit knowledge at work. It’s the result of thousands of hours spent refining their craft—often through trial and error. You can take the same approach in your own journey, but only if you stop waiting for everything to be perfect and start experimenting with what you already know.

Here’s How to Get Started:

Quick Sprints

Small, focused actions lead to big breakthroughs. Try something, learn from it, and move on. It’s better to get something done imperfectly than wait for the ideal moment.

Close the Loop

Every experience teaches you something. The wins and the losses. The key is in reflection and refinement. With each attempt, the learning curve gets shorter. But you’ve got to be willing to close the loop and apply those lessons to your next try.

Share Your Journey

Growth is faster when you share your progress with others. Reflecting, teaching, or even just discussing your insights will deepen your understanding and help you refine your approach. Plus, you never know what connections you’ll make or who you’ll inspire along the way.

Time is precious. I don’t take it for granted that you’ve spent some of yours here—thank you. If you enjoy this content, share it with someone who would too!

Cheers,
Corey Pollnow
